Design2sell Stages a Robert Green Home- “Frank Llyod Wright” of Atlanta
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) October 17, 2013 -- Design2Sell had the privilege of staging a home with great historical significance. The team was lucky enough to dress a home that was designed by Robert M. Green, protege of the great Frank Lloyd Wright. Wright was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1,000 structures and completed 532 works. He was widely known for applying his philosophy of organic architecture to his designs. This meant there had to be a certain harmony between humanity and the natural world through the design of the structure. He is most notably famous for his design of the "Falling water" residence in Pennsylvania, which incorporates a natural waterfall within the structure.
Design2Sell was very excited to work on a home designed by the famous Georgia based architect and found the design elements and materials very inspiring. Design2Sell team member Lisa Uihlein described the experience like this…
“When I first entered the property its energy warms you like a cozy fire then it releases you to a wall of windows surrounded by a lush landscape of trees, a sea of green. More than the architecture it is the flow of opposite energies that are balanced in this structure. Where there was darkness there was light, linear lines expanded into open spaces that gently guided you in a circular pattern around the open fireplace. It was the blending of opposites that were our inspiration. The end result was an eclectic mix of old and new objects that are balanced by texture, color and size. It is the perfect backdrop for any style even your Queen Anne dining chairs would be perfectly happy here.”
Design2Sell was grateful for the opportunity to work in such a house and highly recommends visiting our blog to view some after pictures of the staging at http://www.homedesign2sell.com/category/barbaras-blog/.
