Diversity Focus Hires New Director of Communications & Media Affairs
Cedar Rapids, Iowa (PRWEB) January 13, 2014 -- Diversity Focus is strengthening our team, as we continue to make the Creative Corridor a more inclusive place to live, work, and play. We are proud to announce the addition of Gabe Erickson as our new Director of Communications & Media Affairs.
Gabe brings a solid background in journalism and communications. He has served nearly a decade in newsrooms across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and now Iowa. Most recently, he was an Anchor/Reporter at CBS 2/FOX 28 in Cedar Rapids. He has entrepreneurial experience right here in Eastern Iowa and is also an MBA candidate.
“We are excited to have Gabe on the team,” says Chad Simmons, Diversity Focus Executive Director. “His strong skill sets in content management and his commitment to our region will improve our ability to tell stories in a more authentic way.”
