Eagle Technology Asset Management Application Added to Johnson Controls Panoptix® Applications Library
Mequon, Wisconsin (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- Eagle Technology, Inc. has launched its Proteus MMX Asset Manager for Intelligent Facilities solution to help reduce costs of operation through improved asset scheduling and tracking. The Proteus MMX Asset Manager application will be provided free for the first year of use on the Johnson Controls Panoptix application marketplace.
The Eagle Technology software provides actionable data for facility assets. Through integration with Panoptix, this software allows users to schedule preventive maintenance, create work orders, track costs, print reports and view Key Performance Indicators for all facility assets. Meter data is also collected for reporting and analysis.
The Panoptix solution is a building efficiency platform that simplifies complex, disparate building data generated by building management systems, utility meters and more, so users can take actions to improve their building’s efficiency. It collects data from a single facility or across a global enterprise and transmits it to the cloud where it can be used with a range of applications to deliver better insight and control over energy use, equipment operation and occupant comfort. Because the solution is based on an open platform, third parties can use Panoptix data to enable their own applications and make them available in the Panoptix marketplace.
“The Panoptix solution is an innovative platform with tremendous potential, and we’re thrilled to provide a unique partner option in its application marketplace,” said Eagle Technology Vice President, Harry Kohal. “Building owners and managers are working to drive down costs and whatever is necessary to meet their sustainability goals. Proteus MMX Intelligent Facility will help them identify and deliver real, measurable savings and increase the lifespan of their assets.”
“With Proteus MMX Asset Manager, users of the Panoptix solution have new ways to schedule and track maintenance activities of building assets.” said Laura Farnham, vice president, Building Technology and Services, Building Efficiency, Johnson Controls. "We welcome Eagle Technology to the Panoptix community and application marketplace."
Eagle Technology is offering the Proteus MMX Asset Manager to Panoptix users at no cost the first year of use, allowing them to move closer to the true intelligent facility. Customers may upgrade to the complete version of Proteus MMX Asset Manager at any time, or continue to use the limited version for a fee after the first year.
