WHAT: Dubbed "Plates for the World," the one-day special promotion includes a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner available as take-out or served at the restaurant. $30 from each meal eaten in the restaurant will be donated to Stop Hunger Now. Advance, pre-paid reservations for “Plates for the World” dining and takeout are required. WHY: Stop Hunger Now is shipping meals and other critical supplies such as medicine, medical supplies, water filters and hygiene kits to the Philippines as part of ongoing disaster relief operations in response to the devastation as a result of Typhoon Haiyan. Stop Hunger Now has already been able to put critically needed food and water into the hands of the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. In addition to one million meals being shipped from the U.S., Stop Hunger Now Malaysia is coordinating the packaging and delivery of hundreds of thousands of meals and other aid along with partners in Singapore and the Philippines.
