eBay, Twitter, Google Join the Digital Marketing Innovation Summit
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- Digital marketing is currently going through a difficult time. Just as marketers have been grappling with the shift from desktop to mobile, the continued growth in the use of ad blocking software has made traditional customer engagement strategies less effective. This, along with other changes in consumer behavior, is forcing companies to adapt their marketing strategies, utilizing new technologies and processes to refine their methods.
Companies have never had such a wealth of data regarding their customers and their buying habits. The insights available mean that future campaigns can be properly informed by past efforts, target groups can be identified with a greater degree of specificity, and customer engagement can be quantified to see where time and money are best spent.
This September 15-16, Los Angeles will host the Digital Marketing Innovation Summit, where industry leaders will come together to discuss how the industry can best respond to the challenges and opportunities that seem to loom anew every month, and how marketers can best exploit the data at their disposal. Speakers from some of the US’ biggest digital-first and digital-only companies will share their marketing strategies, their take on social media marketing, and customer engagement techniques that they are adopting to thrive in an increasingly fast-paced and crowded environment.
Twitter’s senior content manager, Gina Ballenger, will discuss the social media giant’s cross-channel content strategies, the way in which storytelling has evolved, and how brands can set themselves apart from the competition.
Maria Maguire, curator of the event, said: ‘Some companies are still failing to properly exploit the data at their disposal, whilst others are missing the opportunities presented by effective cross-channel engagement. It’s exciting to bring together speakers from so many top digital companies. The diversity and quality on show will give all attendees valuable insight to take back to their organizations, no matter how developed their digital marketing strategy is at present.’
Re-engaging consumers across multiple touchpoints is essential for effective digital marketing, but can be difficult to get right. Also speaking at the event will be head of industry at Google, Joanne Nichols, who will discuss how best to maintain a seamless brand experience on multiple channels and multiple devices.
On top of the insight from digital marketing’s leading voices, the summit provides an opportunity to engage with and share ideas with over 150 high-level digital marketing executives in organized networking sessions and interactive panel discussions, allowing attendees to expand their networks and discuss opportunities going forward.
