Emerald Health Launches Updated Version of Its EMR Software

Gupta explained that when Dr. Rajan, president of Emerald Health, originally designed the Emerald EMR, he did it in a way that it could be easily customizable.
“When a large physical therapy group approached Emerald Health to provide EMR needs, Emerald Health was able to redesign templates that would accommodate the ever-changing needs in the physical therapy industry,” Gupta said.
Emerald Health’s web-based certified EMR requires only an internet connection and a PC to get you quickly charting patients.
The company spokesperson went on to note that where most EMR vendors would take extended time frames and exorbitant costs to make these changes, Emerald Health was able to expedite changes in a short time for less cost.
Bob Eccleston, marketing manager for Emerald Health LLC., pointed out that its EMR is a user-friendly, cloud based system that has the ability to accommodate most practices.
“We have really been able to provide an EMR to physicians who are not tech-savvy, or have dismissed the idea of having an EMR, even with the penalties, because our system is so easy to use,” Eccleston said.
