Over the past 25 years, Dr. Karp has served in a number of leadership positions in behavioral health care, eating disorder treatment, and substance abuse facilities including chief medical officer, medical director, and chief psychiatric officer.
Dr. Karp earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. He served as the chief medical officer for Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders for 10 years and regularly presents about the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring addictions in universities and professional settings.
