Eureka Springs School of the Arts to Host Fall Art Show
Eureka Springs, AR (PRWEB) November 08, 2013 -- This Thanksgiving weekend, forget about Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Instead, explore a fantastic alternative to the stressful holiday shopping at Eureka Springs School of the Arts’ Fall Art Show. The event will be held at the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It starts on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and runs through Sunday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The art show will feature 50 prolific regional artists displaying their exquisite art, which will be available for purchase. Guests will also have the unique opportunity to converse with the artists regarding their art and their process. Also featured at the show will be Eureka Springs School of the Arts founders Eleanor Lux, Mary Springer and Doug Stowe, in addition to perennial favorites Valerie Damon, Zeek Taylor, Terry Russell, Les Brandt and Chon Stanley.
Two-dimensional, three-dimensional, fiber, wood, clay, glass, and metal art will all be on display for guests to purchase for themselves or for that special someone on their holiday gift list. Admission to the event is $5 and will benefit Eureka Springs School of the Arts’ mission to continue creating art education opportunities in Northwest Arkansas.
