Everest Group’s Simonson to Map Out End-to-End Process Trend at Orlando SSOW
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- Adopting an end-to-end process model is the key to becoming a successful Global Business Services (GBS) provider and thereby unlocking the next wave of value for customers, according to Eric Simonson, Everest Group managing partner.
Simonson and Michael Hedegard, Everest Group associate partner, will share GBS insights from Everest Group’s recent research and work with market leaders at the 18th Annual North American Shared Services & Outsourcing Week (SSOW) being held at the Disney Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Florida, next week.
Simonson’s plenary session, The GBS Journey—Shed Light on the True Benefits of an End-to-End Process Model, is slated for Thursday, March 13, 2014, at 4:50 pm.
Simonson will share with attendees the true benefits of an end-to-end process model, the areas where it is most applicable, and the requirements for overcoming organizational and technological barriers.
“On the journey to becoming a true Global Business Services (GBS) provider, one of the most challenging curves to navigate is re-orienting service from a functional-silo view to an end-to-end process model,” says Simonson. “And the next great challenge is how adapt the technological infrastructure to this same philosophy.”
Hedegard’s functional focus group session, Tear Down the Walls to Create an Effective Global Business Services Operation, is on the agenda for Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at 2:35 pm. Hedegard will examine several case studies on how leading businesses have moved beyond the benefits of cost effectiveness to achieve break-through value from global business services (GBS) in terms of cost, productivity, innovation and sustainable business growth.
The 18th Annual North American Shared Services & Outsourcing Week hosts 800+ shared services and outsourcing practitioners, industry solution providers and leading analyst firms for three days of information-sharing, networking and benchmarking.
