(PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- NE Time Systems (http://www.netimesystems.com), a technology company and a leading provider of Time and Attendance/Workforce Management solutions, announced that Family First Health has significantly increased their productivity by utilizing the NE Time Systems solution (powered by NOVAtime).
Founded in 1970, Family First Health is a non-profit, federally qualified health center that provides medical, dental, and social services in the York and Adams counties of Pennsylvania. Family First Health receives grant funding, enabling the health center to provide care to the uninsured population from its five locations. To eliminate its manual timekeeping practices, Family First Health chose NE Time Systems.
The NE Time Systems solution is a complete time and attendance and scheduling system with accruals, leave, and reporting capabilities. Prior to implementing the NE Time Systems solution, employees were required to fill out a paper form each day to record their worked hours and to distribute these hours to the appropriate cost center(s). At the end of the pay period, employees were expected to submit these paper timesheets to be manually tallied and totaled. However, employees would sometimes fail to turn in these sheets, thus causing problems and delays. According to Elizabeth Workinger, Fiscal Manager at Family First Health, “The new system has eliminated timesheet delays. We can successfully track and distribute hours to the appropriate cost centers for grant tracking.” With NE Time Systems, employees now submit all of this information electronically, making timesheet management easier and more efficient. Ms. Workinger is also pleased that the system has yielded time savings for both the staff and for Elaine Scott, the Payroll Staff Accountant.
Ms. Workinger also likes the security mechanisms that control which features users can access and that define the employee records that they supervise. She says, “Our supervisors can approve timesheets, and we can limit their access to the just the employees they need.” Additionally, the system's access groups, provide security rules that define which modules, pages, and other system features and functionality can be accessed and utliized by a particular group of system users or employees. This can restrict or permit the viewing and editing of certain pages in the system, as well as the type of access that is provided to users, such as read-and-write or read-only access. This is truly an area of the software that shines.
When asked about a specific way that the NE Time Systems team has excelled in serving Family First Health, Ms. Workinger explains that NE Time Systems was “exceptionally fast at getting things squared away for us, doing what they could as fast as they could.” NE Time Systems is excited to have Family First Health as a client, and hopes to continue providing services to help them do more of what they do best.
