Fourth of July at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey
Marina del Rey, CA (PRWEB) June 14, 2015 -- With the area bustling with Fourth of July activities, there isn’t more of an idyllic place to dine than on the water at Cast & Plow. The farm-to-table restaurant’s Executive Chef, Umit Kaygusuz, has crafted a specialty prix fixe menu that will entice locals and visitors alike to enjoy some classic favorites such as house-made cornbread with whipped honey butter and barbecue brisket.
Priced at $75 per person the prix fixe menu will include a variety of starters guests may choose from, such as: watermelon and feta salad, sautéed fingerling and corn, crispy rock shrimp, gazpacho and smoked potato salad. Main course offerings include a variety of summertime icons such as mesquite smoked chicken, Berkshire pork chop, brisket and more.
Recently joining the Cast & Plow kitchen, the restaurant’s Pastry Chef Vanessa Johnson will take ownership of the dessert station with her own recipe for cherry tart as well as a brownie sundae that will be topped with caramel ice cream and seasonal berries.
