Fun Halloween Art Project Has Been Released On Kids Activities Blog
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) October 27, 2013 -- A fun Halloween art project makes a great activity this week. Finding great projects that appeal to different age groups can be challenging. Seasoned Moms have released fun Halloween math games and projects for toddlers, preschoolers, and young school aged kids.
Art projects make Halloween always special. It is not easy to find an art project that is appropriate for toddlers as well as preschoolers. Materials needed are coffee filters, markers, a spray bottle with water, and orange construction paper.
Grab and image online of a pumpkin or ghost and trace the outline on the construction paper. Cut out the Halloween face outline. Give the child a coffee filter and a variety of different colored markers and let them scribble all over the coffee filter. Hand them a spray bottle and let them spray water on the coffee filer.
The kids will have a blast watching the colors swirl together on the filter. Let the filter dry. Tape the dried coffee filter on the back of the construction paper. Ready is the fun Halloween refrigerator art.
The fun math games include a Hershey Kiss Memory game. Simply use white garage stickers and write either numbers or math facts on them. Label each Hershey kiss with a sticker and ready is the fun chocolate memory game. The kids will ask for round after round playing the yummy game. This game beats boring math flash cards for sure.
The Fact Family Pumpkin game is perfect for different age groups. Simply purchase fun little plastic pumpkins at the Dollar store and write on each pumpkin a number. Then make up addition and subtraction problems that equal each pumpkin's number. This game can be adjusted for younger or older kids. For the littlest family members one can write dots on the popsicle sticks instead or writing numbers.
Another fun math game takes the kids to the pumpkin farm. It is just like playing battleship. Each player gets a game board and a few pumpkins to hide in their patch. Make sure the opponent cannot see the board. Let the kids take turns to see where the opponent's pumpkins are growing.
The skinny pumpkins are worth 2 points and fat pumpkins are worth 5 points. Simply download the pages from the link provided on Kids Activities Blog.
