Galdos Systems to provide INdicio Schema Registry for OGC Testbed
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) January 31, 2015 -- The INdicio Registry will be used to manage GML application schemas in the Urban-Climate Resilience thread. The INdicio Registry will provide, among other things, the ability to notify interested parties whenever a schema is updated. This is essential for improving data management workflows in crisis management scenarios.
Galdos is also leading the development of a conformance test suite for OGC Catalog 3.0 service implementations (OGC 12-176r5). Two conformance classes will be the focus of this work: Basic-Catalogue and OpenSearch. The test suite will extend the reach of the OGC compliance program and enable the certification of conforming implementations.
Galdos has participated in almost every OGC testbed initiative since they began in 1999. The interoperability program is designed to foster innovation in the community, and bring together technology users and providers to work collaboratively to develop, test, and validate standards under marketplace conditions.
The Galdos INdicio™ Registry is a new kind of information management solution — part GIS, part database, part document management system. INdicio offers a web service and solution with spatial capabilities which accelerates the development of enterprise solutions.
