Global Partnership for Telehealth Announces New Stethoscope Software
WAYCROSS, GA (PRWEB) March 15, 2018 -- Global Partnership for Telehealth, a South Georgia-based telehealth networking agency, announced today that TeleSensi, the company’s stethoscope streaming software, is now available for purchase nationwide. The product was previously only available to entities who held a signed contract with the agency.
Sherrie Williams, COO of Global Partnership for Telehealth, said that the company initially developed TeleSensi to meet the immediate needs of its network. “We were searching for a stethoscope software that was both high-quality and affordable for our partners, many of whom live in rural areas with limited resources and budgets,” Williams said. “With TeleSensi, we were able to accomplish both goals."
Williams said that TeleSensi was well-received by their network partners and that after nearly a year of internal use and beta testing, the product is ready to go public. Its price and performance make TeleSensi a very marketable product, according to Williams.
Jerad Johnson, chief technological officer at Global Partnership for Telehealth, said that TeleSensi is an easy-to-use tele-auscultation platform that transmits a patient’s live heart and lung sounds to a medical provider during a telemedicine consult.
“The process is streamlined so that a provider can sign into the platform and be listening to a patient’s heartbeat in less that sixty seconds,” Johnson said, “and because it’s web-based, it can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.”
Stone Three Venture Technology, a technology development company, engineered the platform. Williams said that the company worked hard to make the price as affordable as possible.
“In terms of pricing, you’d be hard-pressed to find anything comparable,” Williams said.
Williams said that she thinks TeleSensi will prove a strong competitor in the market for tele-auscultation.
“This product will hold up well against any foreseen competitors,” she said. “It has done well over the past year inside the GPT network, and I think that it will only become stronger as it becomes more widely used.”
