Goodman Acker P.C. Adds Three New Michigan Personal Injury Attorneys
Southfield, MI (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- Goodman Acker P.C., the Southfield, Michigan personal injury law firm celebrating its 20th year of serving Metro Detroit, today announced the recent addition of three new attorneys to the firm – Charles W. Wojno, Johnny A. Hamood and Eboney R. Hughes.
Charles W. Wojno joined Goodman Acker as an attorney, where he is responsible for all aspects of personal injury practice, from Wigod & Falzon, PC, where he worked as an associate attorney and handled a docket of more than 100 personal injury cases in litigation. Prior to that, he spent the first 20 years of his legal career with Berger, Miller & Strager, PC, where he was the first law clerk ever hired as an attorney in the firm’s more than 30-year history.
A Cum Laude graduate of University of Detroit School of Law and resident of Grosse Ile, Mich., Wojno actively supports his community, serving as a member of the Grosse Ile Township Board of Zoning Appeals and the Grosse Ile Athletic Boosters. He also is a member of the Knights of Columbus at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Grosse Ile.
Attorney Johnny A. Hamood joined Goodman Acker from Garan Lucow Miller, PC. Specializing in civil and personal injury litigation, Hamood is responsible for representing clients in a variety of personal injury accident matters, including Michigan car accidents and no-fault insurance claims.
A resident of Dearborn, Mich., Hamood earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School. He is an active member of the Arab American Chamber of Commerce and the Arab American Bar Association.
Attorney Eboney R. Hughes is a welcomed addition to Goodman Acker’s Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Team, where she is responsible for processing PIP claims and assisting with personal injury litigation files. Prior to joining Goodman Acker, Hughes worked as a sole practitioner.
A Detroit native, Hughes received her juris doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and her undergraduate degree from Detroit’s Wayne State University.
Additionally, Wojno, Hamood and Hughes all are members of the Michigan Association for Justice, formerly known as the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, a non-profit organization of approximately 1,600 members dedicated to furthering civil justice and access to the courts for the people of the State of Michigan.
“Charles, Johnny and Eboney all bring to Goodman Acker a variety of different professional expertise, as well as their unique personal perspectives, but above all, they share a passion for justice that is the cornerstone of the Goodman Acker culture,” said Gerald Acker, co-founder and senior partner of Goodman Acker, P.C. “We are pleased and fortunate to welcome all three of them to our team.”
