Here’s what not to miss:
• Wild Child Bushcraft: den building, fire lighting and woodland adventure all on the doorstep. Run by qualified Forest School practitioners, it’s time for children of all ages to get muddy and experience nature and survival firsthand in the woods surrounding The Valley.
• Haunted Halloween Party: it’s set to be frightfully good! There will be ghostly tales by the campfire with BAFTA-winning storyteller John Brolly and marshmallows to toast, a Wicked Woods treasure hunt, Creepy Crafts workshops, pumpkin carving, face painting and toffee apple making. Expect hot mulled cider for mum and dad.
• Mark’s Ark: The bravest of kids can get up close and personal with Mark’s treasure trove of spiders, snakes and giant insects when he comes to visit with his Ark.
• Mums: it’s your half term break too, and The Valley's saint in residence Julie Goodchild is on hand for reflexology, aromatherapy and massage.
Dates & Stays
Half term at The Valley runs from Friday 18th October - Monday 4th November. Guests can cosy up in a selection of two or three bed five star family friendly cottages for three, four and seven night breaks. Tariffs start at £350 for a family cottage sleeping four.
