Hayward Corporation Adds Additional Builder Education Events
MONTEREY, Calif., (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 -- Hayward announces additional Builder EXPO events in Pacific Grove, Redwood City and Santa Barbara, CA. As a result of the resounding success on January 8, 2015 of its first Builder EXPO in San Luis Obispo, CA, Hayward has added Builder EXPO events on April 9, 2015, at its Pacific Grove, CA location and on May 14, 2015, at its Redwood City, CA location. The Santa Barbara event, presented in conjunction with the Santa Barbara Contractors Association, will take place over two days, on May 29 and 30, 2015.
The event in San Luis Obispo attracted more than 125 building professionals, who spent the day attending seminars conducted by nationally recognized authorities. The event also included a trade show with more than well-known building materials manufacturers, as well as free food and giveaways. “Our Builder EXPOs give builders the opportunity to learn about the most advanced building systems and how to build with them. The EXPOs also afford our customers the opportunity to improve their businesses and to meet and share ideas with like-minded professionals,” said William E. Hayward, Hayward’s, CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer. A short video of what to expect at the event is available on Hayward’s website, http://www.haywardlumber.com in the “What’s New” section.
The upcoming events will feature many of the same seminars and many of the same nationally recognized authorities. Bill Hayward, CEO of Hayward, will discuss how the Hayward Healthy Home will revolutionize home building by going beyond green. Scott Chaplan, Founding Partner of Greene, Fidler & Chaplan, LLP, will address the actions that every builder should take to minimize construction defect liability. In Pacific Grove and Redwood City, David Knight, Principal and Founder at the Monterey Energy Group, will talk about how builders can make the new California Energy Code work in their favor. In Santa Barbara, Mark LaLiberte, President and Founding Partner of Construction Instruction, will cover high performance building practices and how to sell them. All of the events will also feature trade shows with the same group of national building materials manufacturers, free food, and giveaways.
Hayward has been at the forefront of innovation, a global green leader, and one of the top 50 lumberyards in the country. Hayward is the exclusive supplier of Hayward Fast Floor, a pre-cut floor joist system that saves builders time and money. Hayward also manufactures and delivers roof trusses. As a destination for lumber and building materials, Hayward blends old fashioned values, “a square deal and a handshake,” with more contemporary ideas, including advocating air quality, human health, resource efficiency and healthy forests. In 2014, Hayward launched the Hayward Healthy Home Website, http://www.haywardhealthyhome.com, to educate professionals and consumers about how to build a healthy home.
