Healthcare Solutions Announces Organization Changes

George, chairman and chief executive officer of Healthcare Solutions, has decided to transition his current responsibilities as chief executive officer while continuing in his role as chairman of the board. In conjunction with this decision, Joe Boures, Healthcare Solutions’ president and chief operating officer, has been appointed as Healthcare Solutions’ new president and CEO effective August 1, 2014.
George has served as Healthcare Solutions’ chief executive officer since 2006. Under his leadership the company has evolved from a prominent pharmacy benefit management company to a market leader in the delivery of product and service offerings across the entire medical spectrum in both the workers’ compensation and auto insurance markets.
Serving the largest and most sophisticated buyers in these markets, the company now provides healthcare products and services across the full spectrum of medical care, including specialty healthcare services, such as durable medical equipment and supplies, prosthetics and orthotics, home health, dental, diagnostic imaging, physical medicine, and transportation and language services, as well as managed care products including PPO networks, medical bill review and case management.
Throughout George’s tenure as CEO, Healthcare Solutions has achieved strong revenue and earnings growth across each of its business lines, and the company is on pace to achieve a second consecutive year of record sales performance.

Boures joined Healthcare Solutions in August of 2011. He is a 20 year veteran of the workers’ compensation industry and has extensive experience in executive management positions. Prior to joining Healthcare Solutions, Boures served as president for Specialty Risk Services, Inc. (SRS), a subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group, which was acquired by Sedgwick Claims Management Services. As president, he oversaw all facets of the SRS operations, including business development, account management and field operations.
In his current role as president and COO of Healthcare Solutions, Boures provides oversight for the company’s operational, financial, account management, marketing, legal and IT services. Under Boures’ direction, the company has continued to manage high growth while maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality results and customer satisfaction.
