Heartland Dental Leaders Speak at 2016 ADSO Summit
Effingham, IL (PRWEB) April 28, 2016 -- Rick Workman, DMD, Heartland Dental founder and Patrick Bauer, president and chief executive officer at Heartland Dental, LLC, the largest dental support organization in the country, recently spoke at the 2016 ADSO Summit. The event, held on April 20th - 22nd in Las Vegas, brought leaders of dental support organizations (DSOs) and other dental professionals together to discuss trends in law and advocacy, the latest developments from leading industry partners and insight on the direction of the industry.
“Having a forum like this to openly share thoughts, ideas and solutions is extremely beneficial for dental support organizations,” said Rick Workman, DMD. “Supporting over 8,000 dentists domestically and internationally, it is the ADSO’s mission to enthusiastically represent to the dental community the powerful advantages that dental support organizations offer dental professionals for improving the quality of dental care for patients and the quality of their own lives. We know that the vast majority of dentists would prefer to focus on patient care and spend their free time with their families. The ADSO is their voice to ensure that option continues to be a reality.”
The summit provided a variety of helpful topics for DSO leaders and dental professionals, including advancing your company, health care trends, digital education for member recruitment, emerging integrated care models, government affairs, social media marketing and more. Additional presenters included Steve Thorne of Pacific Dental Services, Bob Fontana of Aspen Dental, Doug Brown of Affordable Care, Dr. Paul Homoly of Homoly Communications, Michael Raynor, business expert and author, and many others.
“Like in years past, this event again focused on the ADSO’s original and inherent environment for collaboration and learning, on which the ADSO was founded – To share best practices to help individual supported offices thrive, to help member groups learn, grow and manage their businesses, and to protect their companies, their supported dentists and offices, and our industry,” added Patrick Bauer. “It was a pleasure to attend this summit to discuss the future of DSOs and Heartland Dental specifically, as well as the challenges and opportunities we all face.”
