Historical Society’s Museum Season Boosts Local Real Estate
Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) October 28, 2014 -- Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams today announced as the Palm Springs Historical Society gets their month-long gala opening under way the spotlight will shine on the area’s beautiful and unique midcentury luxury homes and turn-of-the-century architecture. The historical society operates the two oldest remaining buildings in the Palm Springs area. These include the McCallum Adobe and Cornelia White House, built in 1884 in 1893 respectively. The Museum's opening season will run from 10 AM until 4 PM daily on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday through November 30, 2014.
Schmett observed that, “The Museum is home to some of the richest history in the Palm Springs area. Most people know we are world famous for our amazing midcentury architecture and stunning luxury estates but we also have turn-of-the-century architecture as well, The Museum is housed in these. Inside the Museum expect to see modern exhibits highlighting the colorful desert lifestyle from nightclubs to dude ranches, to stylish hotels like El Mirador. Palm Springs has always known a wealth of celebrities, and their photographs and famous exploits are scattered throughout the Museum. After the gala month-long opening the Museum will be open through the end of April. Admission is free.
