Aegis Living CEO Dwayne Clark and his family were selected by Seattle Business Magazine as Best Family Business (Growth). Aegis Living President Judy Meleliat was awarded as Puget Sound 2014 Woman of Influence and Aegis Living was chosen as among the Best Places to Work in Evening Magazine’s Best of Western Washington Contest.
In the 2014 Seattle Business Magazine competition, Aegis Living CEO and Founder Dwayne Clark and his family were honored as Best Family Business (Growth) for 2014. Clark was joined on stage at Seattle’s Bell Harbor Conference Center by his wife, Terese, his son, Adam, daughter Ashley and his grandchildren. Clark said, “I’m truly honored to share the stage and this honor with my family.” Clark adds, “Aegis Living currently has more than $300 million worth of construction underway at sites all over Western Washington.”
Dwayne Clark is the CEO and Founder of Aegis Living, a company of nearly 2,000 employees across the West Coast serving residents in 30 assisted-living communities with expansion underway in Washington State. The honor was special for Meleliat because her mother, Ilona, was able to be on hand for the ceremonies. Ilona is also a resident at Aegis The Lodge in Kirkland. Meleliat says, “I’m humbled and honored to receive an honor like this.” As President, Judy leads all operations, sales, marketing, human resources, clinical, analytics, legal and life enrichment departments for Aegis Living communities in California, Washington and Nevada. Judy is active in the community, serving as a board member at Seattle’s Fare Start. One of the reasons she was chosen was her daily attention to mentorship.
Aegis Living was also chosen as one of the top three Best Places to Work in Western Washington in Evening Magazine’s Best of Western Washington Competition. Aegis was chosen from among 313 entrants in the contest. This marks the second year Aegis Living was chosen as one of the best places to work in Western Washington.
