Houston Professional Named Young CPA of the Year
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 18, 2014 -- The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently honored Houston certified public accountant Ben Simiskey with the organization’s Young CPA of the Year Award. The Young CPA of the Year Award recognizes a CPA under 40 years old for his/her contributions to the accounting profession and the community.
Simiskey was certified in 2007 and has been a member of TSCPA since 2006. His volunteer service to TSCPA and his chapter includes service on his chapter’s Board of Directors and various local committees, a seat on TSCPA’s Strategic Planning Committee, and terms as both a member and chairman of TSCPA’s Young CPAs and Emerging Professionals Committee. In addition to his commitment to his professional association, Simiskey is dedicated to giving back to organizations within his community. Simiskey is owner and founder of PLS Advisory, a financial planning and investment management firm in Houston.
