HSHS Medical Group Introduces Health Today Series
Springfield, Illinois (PRWEB) November 13, 2016 -- HSHS Medical Group is excited to introduce a video series that features their providers discussing the care they give patients, their specialty, and why they chose to work with HSHS Medical Group. These videos showcase the providers’ personalities, and viewers can see firsthand the enthusiasm and passion they have for patient-first care. Called Health Today, the series is hosted by Sonya Jones, HSHS Medical Group outreach representative and finalist on NBC’s The Biggest Loser Season 16. Health Today episodes will be released monthly and introduce providers practicing a range of specialties across central and southern Illinois.
In honor of American Diabetes Awareness Month, the first episode highlights Christie Razavi, MD, an endocrinologist at Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at HSHS Medical Group in Springfield. Dr. Razavi discusses working with an interdisciplinary team and what drew her to endocrinology.
“I can tell you that we have skilled, compassionate providers, but it’s so much better to see this for yourself,” says Melinda Clark, chief executive officer. “Health Today offers a glimpse into the unique stories of our providers, their journey in health care, and the experiences that inspire them to be advocates for our patients’ health. It’s wonderful that we can share these stories with the community.”
