Infomedia Appoints Sharon Kitzman President of IFM Americas
Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) February 05, 2018 -- Infomedia Ltd (ASX:IFM), a leader in parts and service software to the global automotive industry, announced today it has appointed Ms Sharon Kitzman as President of IFM Americas following the departure of Ms Karen Blunden.
Ms Kitzman is highly regarded in the automotive and technology communities, working as an executive and consultant to automotive technology companies in growth strategies, M&A and leadership development.
Since 2007, Ms Kitzman has been with Dealertrack Technologies, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of Dealertrack DMS. Prior to that time, Ms Kitzman was Senior Director Marketing and Product with Reynolds and Reynolds in the United States.
As President of IFM Americas, reporting to Infomedia CEO Jonathan Rubinsztein, Ms Kitzman will be responsible for driving the Americas sales strategy, leveraging Infomedia’s existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to support Infomedia’s growth. Ms Kitzman’s extensive experience in automotive software and understanding of the dealership ecosystem makes her well positioned to guide Infomedia’s automaker and dealership customers as they embrace digital transformation to navigate the competitive challenges ahead.
“Sharon’s appointment signifies Infomedia’s commitment to fast-tracking growth in the Americas. Her relationships, experience and knowledge of the automotive landscape provide an excellent foundation for Infomedia to advance our position in the region,” said Infomedia’s CEO Jonathan Rubinsztein.
“Sharon will oversee our long-term commitment in the Americas of enabling dealerships with intuitive, data-rich technology to transform their workshop productivity and drive customer loyalty.”
Ms Kitzman said: “I am really looking forward to expanding Infomedia’s opportunity in the Americas. I have long admired Infomedia’s customer focused product innovation and its commercial application. Infomedia has been the technology partner of choice for automakers as a service provider in parts and service technology and I see further opportunity to extend Infomedia’s influence in the fixed operations space of the global automotive market.
“More than ever, I believe dealerships are looking for innovative technology to help them retain customers and grow profitability. Trends suggest consumers are hanging on to their cars longer and therefore a quality customer experience during a service repair is critical to automakers and dealerships. Infomedia’s unique and integrated approach to technology enables dealerships to remove the business silos of parts and service operations to create workflow efficiencies and exceptional customer experiences.
I think Infomedia’s technology is a game changer and I look forward to collaborating with automakers and dealerships to deliver customer focused efficient solutions throughout the Americas and beyond,” Ms Kitzman said.
Infomedia’s Microcat® Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) and Superservice™ inspection and quoting platform are next-generation SaaS applications used by over 150,000 dealership staff globally to sell parts and service, improve productivity and boost brand loyalty.
Infomedia has been a global innovator in the parts and service software space for over 25 years. The Microcat and Superservice products are built using genuine automaker data and specifically designed to support the needs of franchised dealerships. Infomedia partners with leading Dealer Management System (DMS) providers globally and supports 3rd party interoperability for its solutions.
Mr Rubinsztein added: “Ms Kitzman’s previous experience in the DMS space will add strategic counsel to our partnership tactics in the Americas. We have a unique opportunity to exploit our proprietary solutions in new ways across the entire customer experience, and I believe Sharon has both the passion and the industry insights to bring our new ideas to market.”
Ms Kitzman commenced in the role on 22 January 2018.
