Infrastructure Expert Peter Aarons Joins HNTB as West Division Aviation Director
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- Peter Aarons has joined HNTB Corporation as West Division aviation director and associate vice president. He brings more than 25 years of experience in planning, development, design, program and project management, and construction, including a tenure as program manager for the “Green Build” terminal development program at San Diego International Airport.
Aarons will lead development and implementation of the firm’s aviation strategy in the West Division. He will work on the development of targeted client service action plans, project pursuits and industry representation. He will be located in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Prior to joining HNTB, Aarons served with a consulting firm as a senior manager for aviation business development in Southern California. Also, in his previous role as program manager for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, he assisted in the management of the airport’s more than $800 million capital improvement projects. At SDCRAA, his responsibilities included management oversight and coordination of plans, policies, funding programs and analyses for the agency’s terminal development program and related facilities.
Aarons earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of San Francisco. He is active in Airports Council International – North America, the American Association of Airport Executives and Airport Consultants Council. He currently serves on the leadership team for the Business Information Technologies Committee at ACI-NA as an associate members officer.
