Interdean Explores Best Destinations for Business
(PRWEB UK) 20 November 2013 -- It has been reported in Expat Forum that the annual study from the World Bank found that Hong Kong and China came second and third respectively, demonstrating that the majority of countries topping the global list are Asian. Making up the rest of the top ten were New Zealand, the US, Denmark, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Georgia, Norway and the UK. The research reportedly used 10 criteria to establish the level of difficulty of conducting business in any particular country, including the ease of filing taxes, enforcing contracts, accessing electricity and obtaining permits. Some big economies such as France and Germany ranked lower than potentially expected.
The report also highlighted the fact that governments around the world substantially improved business relations in 114 economies last year.
Renowned for being leaders in the overseas removals industry, Interdean take a keen interest in pursuing updates and developments within the expat world. Intrigued by the recent news, a representative from the firm explains the impact these results may have on workers looking to relocate abroad.
“Every year we are approached by thousands of customers who are planning on moving abroad for work, either because their employers are moving them or in pursuit of better employment opportunities. Either way, data like this is useful in the decision making process, allowing people to see how different countries perform in different areas. It’s interesting to see that the best performing countries are in Asia.”
