InventHelp® Client Develops Bathtub for Bedridden Individuals (BRK-537)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- Nurses are called upon to care for individuals with varying degrees of physical mobility. Of course, if a patient is bedridden, simple tasks, such as bathing, become a lot more difficult. To lend a helping hand, an inventor from Empire, Ala., developed the D SHOWER.
The accessory provides a better way to bathe bedridden patients. The design eliminates hassles and frustrations, and saves time and effort. The tub features a lightweight, compact design that is easy to store and transport. Additionally, the invention is easy to use and producible in different sizes and colors.
The inventor's professional experience inspired the idea. "I saw a need for a tub like this working as a nurse," she said. "Bedridden patients cannot bathe themselves, so it is my job to help them clean themselves. This tub would make my life a lot easier."
The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
