InventHelp Inventor Creates Improved Smartphone/Tablet Case (SUU-337)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 20, 2016 -- An inventor from Chesterfield, Mo., wanted to make it easier to connect headphones to smartphones and tablet computers. As such, he designed the JACK ADAPT – a new protective case that would engage a headphone plug with the audio jack on a mobile device.
The JACK ADAPT employs an extension to connect a headphone plug to a smartphone or tablet computer’s audio jack. This spares a person the time, effort and frustration associated with attempting to connect headphones to a mobile device through a poorly-aligned headphone port on a protective case. It also ensures a proper audio connection and prevents damage to headphone plugs and audio jacks.
The inventor was inspired by experiences with inadequate smartphone and tablet cases. “The headphone ports on such cases do not always align with the audio jacks on mobile devices,” said the inventor. “This case would make quick work of connecting a headphone plug to a smartphone or tablet's audio jack, thereby saving time and effort.”
The original design was submitted to the St. Louis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
