InventHelp® Inventor Designs Improved Chiseling Tool (AUP-263)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- After you weld an area with plasma or a torch, you need to go back and clean up the weld by chiseling away the debris. However, just using a hammer and chisel is not that effective or safe, which is why an inventor from Kingsville, Texas, developed the HAMMER CHIZELL.
The tool removes debris from around welds so that the areas are smooth. The design ends the need to use a hammer to strike the chisel. It also eliminates the need to use a grinder or a chipping hammer. The tool's design prevents the user from smashing his or her fingers. The device saves time and effort. It is small, portable and powerful. In addition, the device can be modified to fit all chisel types, such as wood, metal, brick and sheet metal.
The inventor's professional experience inspired the idea. "I saw a need for a tool like this at my job as a welder," he said. "If you use a regular hammer to strike a chisel, you run the risk of injuring your fingers. Also, angle grinders and chipping hammers can be dangerous as well. That is why I came up with a better tool."
The original design was submitted to the Austin office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
