InventHelp Inventor Develops Protective Cover for Radiation Patients
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 11, 2017 -- An inventor from Memphis, Tenn., has developed the BOOBIESOOTHIE, a protective cover that is placed over the breast and underarm area of patients undergoing radiation therapy due to breast cancer.
"I had breast cancer and the burns were so painful. I designed and built my invention for personal use. This turned my radiation experience into a tolerable one," said the inventor. The BOOBIESOOTHIE substantially eases the pain associated with breast cancer radiation. It makes it possible for users to continue every day life more comfortably. This cover protects clothing from rubbing the burn, as well as the arm rubbing the burn. It also prevents cream from absorbing into clothing. In addition, using this cover will help prevent the nipple from being flattened and ruined post-reconstructive surgery.
The original design was submitted to the National Sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
