InventHelp Inventor Develops Roadside Mailbox Protection System
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) November 01, 2017 -- While snow plows provide a valuable service to alleviate hazardous road conditions, they may cause some collateral damage to roadside mailboxes. That is exactly why an inventor from Plymouth, Mass., figured out how a mailbox support could absorb and deflect such impact.
He developed a prototype for the patent-pending Dura-Post to provide a damage resistant mailbox support system against accidental impact, plowed snow, the elements and vandalism. As such, it is durable for years of effective use. Therefore, since it lengthens the life of a mailbox, it reduces the expense of repair and replacement costs. At the same time, it prevents destruction and loss of mail and is convenient, practical and affordably priced. In addition, it is easy to install and maintenance free.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. "After seeing so many mailboxes and posts damaged or destroyed by plowed snow, including mine, I wanted to find a solution to prevent that from happening again."
The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
