Tel Aviv, Israel (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- ironSource, the world’s leading digital delivery company, today announced the opening of their first China office in Beijing. The office will be staffed by a combination of both Israeli and Chinese employees, as part of ironSource’s commitment to localizing their activities in the Chinese market.
ironSource enables software developers to connect with users effectively across major platforms. installCore, the ironSource desktop software installation platform, has managed over 2.5 billion successful installs to date for major enterprise clients as well as independent developers. The ironSource mobile solution called mobileCore empowers developers to distribute and monetize their applications in the free-app space.
The company has grown rapidly over the last two years, and expanded its workforce from 30 to 300 employees through a mixture of organic growth and M&A activity. ironSource opened offices in San Francisco, California in the summer of 2013 to best meet the needs of current and potential clients and partners based in the United States.
The opening of offices in China is the latest in a series of strategic steps that reflect ironSource’s commitment to profitability and continuous pursuit of disruptive innovation.
In the last year ironSource has placed a special emphasis on broadening its global footprint and strengthening ties with the Chinese market, building up an impressive roster of clients and partnering with major Chinese internet companies like Baidu. After only a short time in the Chinese market, ironSource is already helping their Chinese partners to distribute 100,000 apps, games and software products daily.
“The last few years have seen an explosion in the Chinese Internet space, along with an increase in the desire of Chinese companies to tap into wider global markets,” said Yuval Reisman, ironSource General Manager of China Operations. “In the same way that ironSource helps developers in the rest of the world turn their software into scalable businesses, we will now serve as the channel for Chinese developers to tap into the global market and grow into international businesses.”
The office opening comes on the heels of a visit of 25 Chinese delegates to Israel, among them angel investors, company founders and serial entrepreneurs, organized by ironSource. The delegation was led by Chinese media personality Niu Wenwen of The Founder, along with legendary Chinese angel investor, Xu Xiaoping, who has shown commitment to fostering innovation in his own country, and building the business relationship between China and the west.
"ironSource is recognized as an industry leader across the world, and we are actively looking to expand our footprint in China," said Tomer Bar Zeev, CEO of ironSource. "It’s crucial to make sure that our increased presence in Asia be matched by a focus on localization, and collaborating with visionaries like Xu Xiaoping helps us to do this, allowing us to foster personal relationships and more effectively address the needs of the Chinese market.”
