Dayton, NJ (PRWEB) March 18, 2015 -- ISP Fuel Systems has recently started offering diesel fuel polishing and has had great success in restoring and optimizing fuel quality by removing sludge, water and solids from tanks that naturally accumulates from condensation and the degradation of fuel.
Poor fuel quality is the leading cause of engine performance problems. Even minuscule amounts of contaminants can cause loss of power, incomplete combustion, excessive emissions and injector failure leading to increased operating costs and possible equipment failure. Diesel fuel in a holding tank starts to degrade in just six months from bacteria growth, dirt, water, and other contaminants. The more turned over through a tank, the more debris and water will accumulate in the bottom.
ISP's Process:
A trained technician will come to the facility or job site with a mobile fuel polishing system.
Fuel oil is pumped from the tank, through an oil-water-sludge separator, then through a conditioner and back into the tank.
Stage 1: The separator/coalescer removes water and particulate that clog filters and harm injectors.
Stage 2: The fuel conditioner reconditions and stabilizes the fuel, reversing the process of fuel deterioration.
Stage 3: The industrial type water block fine filter removes emulsified water and very fine solids down to 3 microns.
There are many benefits of fuel polishing including reduced maintenance costs, increased equipment performance and life span, more environmentally friendly and it can eliminate the need to replace the contaminated fuel.
