ISPE 2017 Annual Meeting & Expo Keynote Speakers Announced
Bethesda, Maryland (PRWEB) September 21, 2017 -- The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) announced its keynote speakers for their 2017 Annual Meeting & Expo. Taking place in San Diego, California, October 29 to November 1, keynote addresses will showcase global pharmaceutical industry leaders offering compelling and enlightening presentations spanning the product lifecycle.
Keynote Speakers:
Pam P. Cheng
Pam P. Cheng is currently the Executive Vice President of Global Operations and IT for AstraZenica. Her experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations led her to become responsible for all manufacturing, procurement, and IT globally for AstraZenica. Her presentation will focus on manufacturing operations and specific aspects of the process.
Roger Connor
Roger Connor is currently President of Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) for GlaxoSmithKline. During his 21 years in the industry, he spent two years with AstraZenica and the remaining 19 with GSK in manufacturing organization. His presentation will show how industries outside the pharmaceutical industry can influence its manufacturing approach.
Enno de Boer, PhD
Enno de Boer is the current Partner and Leader of Digital Manufacturing North America for McKinsey & Company, as well as a Global leader for McKinsey’s Digital Capability Center (DCC). His accomplishments include leading a two-year research program on Future of Manufacturing in developed nations, and assuming the position of lead architect for large-scale transformation programs across different industries. His presentation will dive into digital manufacturing and what it has in store for the future.
Glenn F. Pierce
Glenn F. Pierce serves on the Board of Directors of the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) and is an independent consultant, entrepreneur-in-residence at Third Rock Ventures. Before his position at WFH, he was also the former Senior Vice President, Cell and Gene Therapy for Biogen until 2014 when he retired. His presentation will be focused on innovations in hemophilia treatments and the consequences that come with them.
