ISSC-Kanson Now Distributed in West Virginia and Kentucky
Hohenwald, Tenn. (PRWEB) August 20, 2013 -- ISSC-Kanson Electronics, Inc., a Hohenwald, Tenn.-based manufacturer of industrial sensors and timers, has signed a distribution agreement with U.S. Bearing and Power Transmission Corporation (USBPT), making ISSC-Kanson’s sensors and timers available immediately through USBPT’s distribution centers in West Virginia and Kentucky.
USBPT’s centers in Beckley, Craigsville, and Scott Depot, WV, as well as Ashland, Ky., will make it easier for clients to source ISSC-Kanson products in the region. ISSC-Kanson sensors and timers are frequently used to control conveyor belts in the mining industry, as well as in other mining applications. In particular, the ISSC 1262 motion detector is a staple of the industry, having been approved by the Mine Safety and Health Association (MSHA), a workplace safety organization.
“We were delighted when USBPT contacted us about distributing ISSC-Kanson products in West Virginia and Kentucky,” says Arthur Filson, president of ISSC-Kanson. “There is notable demand for our sensors and timers in the region, particularly in the mining industry. Our agreement with USBPT will allow us to fulfill customer demand for our products more quickly while also providing them with a local point of contact.”
