Johnson Hardwood’s Lexington Oak Lipizzan Raises the Creativity Bar
City of Industry, CA (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- “We do our best to stay in front of the trends,” says Vice President of Product Development Danny Chen. “The Lexington series finish is something that we are very proud of. Johnson Hardwood is known for our hand scraped finish. To add chatter was a bit risky, as it’s a more pronounced scraping method. We really wanted to design something that looked aged and reclaimed, and we’ve accomplished it with this product line.” The Lexington series is made up of four different colors, light grayish-blonde to dark brown, all in oak. “Oak is the perfect choice for this type of finish. The wood species itself is a symbol of Americana. The finish adds a legacy look like the wood planks have been a part of the landscape of some rural place in the South.”
The Lexington series includes Lipizzan (gray, white, and beige), Suffolk (butterscotch with hints of brown), Appaloosa (gray with caramel), and Mustang (bronze with chocolate brown). Planks come 6-inches wide with a 9/16-inch thick wear layer. Johnson Hardwood offers their standard 35-year residential warranty with all of their products. Along with the highest standards of consumer safety practice being CARB II certified and Lacey Act compliant.
