Pittsburgh’s ScareHouse haunted house, named as one of America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions by Travel Channel, has over 125 paid positions available for actors, make-up artists, and customer service associates. No experience is necessary but all applicants must be at least 18 years old.
What kind of people work at one of America’s Scariest Haunted Houses? Nurses, office workers, baristas, college students, and many others looking for a fun and exciting job every Halloween season. Veteran ScareHouse actor Christopher Bartko said, “In my normal job I work in a library, and I have to be very quiet and polite and reserved...and I’m not allowed to scare people. This is a dream job!”

The ScareHouse® is open on select dates from September 27 through November 2. Hours are 7pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 7pm to 10pm on all other nights. “Pittsburgh’s Ultimate Haunted House” is located just minutes from downtown at 118 Locust Street, Etna PA 15223.
