July 2014, San Jose DOT purchases TRIC Tools' X30 Pipe Bursting Machine
Alameda, CA (PRWEB) September 16, 2014 -- TRIC Tools, Inc. is proud to announce the sale of an X30 Lateral Pipe Bursting System to San Jose, CA's Department of Transportation (DOT). TRIC worked closely with DOT Mainenance Supervisor, Jesse Perez and his team for about 16 months. "I especially enjoyed discussing the care and maintenance of San Jose's tree lined streets with Ralph Mize, San Jose City Arborist,” TRIC's Michael Lien said. "TRIC enjoys being able to assist contractors and municipalities to save trees in neighborhoods as they contribute so much to the overall appearance and historic beauty of the neighborhood," concluded Mr. Lien.
TRIC enjoys a close relationship with its Municipal Clients. Dedicated industry pipeline professionals are a part of TRIC's training team. These trainers have been on diverse projects and have extensive experience that help public works technicians not only on the current training project but also assist with the planning and execution of upcoming projects. TRIC has won bids with the following Municipalities in 2014: City of Medford, OR, City of Bowling Green, KY, Clean Water Services of Beaverton, OR and City of Livingston, CA.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, Paulsell Consulting is employing TRIC’s Unified Force technology to replace pipeline’s in some very difficult ground conditions. TRIC and Footage Tools combined forces in 2006 to develop this technology. Paulsell Consulting is using the TRIC M50 pipe bursting unit combined with the Unified Force pneumatic tool. This combo uses the stored energy in the cable to power through strong pipelines and/or through difficult ground conditions.
TRIC invented and patented the first Lateral Pipe Bursting System while simultaneously gaining national approval of HDPE pipe for its use, thus opening the market for trenchless home sewer replacement in America.
