Kentucky Breakthrough Prayer Movement Calls Intercessors to the Frontlines
Louisville, Kentucky (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Keepers of the Flame founder Linda Willoughby is joining forces with Michelle Smith, founder of Lord Send Me, and Jennifer LeClaire, author of The Making of a Prophet and an editor at Charisma magazine, to bring an unprecedented prayer movement to Kentucky. The launch day is May 3, the kick off day for the Kentucky Derby.
Dubbed Kentucky Breakthrough Anointing, the movement aims to unite intercessors in the state of the “Unbridled Spirit.” The move will release the Holy Spirit to have His way over Kentucky and release a breaker anointing that will set the captives free.
“I am blowing the trumpet. I am sounding the alarm. I am lifting up my voice,” says
LeClaire, executive director of the International House of Prayer in Fort Lauderdale. “I believe this breakthrough prayer initiative in Kentucky has the potential to unite intercessors across the nation who have been weeping and wailing in their private prayer closets.”
The Preacher said, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). So what season is Kentucky in? And what role do Kentucky’s intercessors have to play in this prophetic season?
“We’ve passed through a season of hearing the prophets declare God’s will over Kentucky. We’ve responded to the sound of the trumpet call. We’ve come through a season of shouting—a shout that is bringing down walls, breaking down barriers, and removing the limits the enemy erected against the Lord in Kentucky. Yet there is more intercessory work to do,” says Willoughby.
“We are entering the season of the breaker anointing—which will require unity among intercessors in Kentucky. We believe this breaker anointing will spread like a wildfire across the United States and even beyond once intercessors get the revelation and pray it through in their states.”
What is the breaker anointing? The Lord shows us through the words He gave to the prophet Micah: “I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together like sheep of the fold, like a flock in the midst of their pasture; They shall make a loud noise because of so many people. The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it; Their king will pass before them, with the Lord at their head” (Micah 2:12-13).
“What this means is the breaker—this breaker anointing—will break down all opposition to God’s will. With the opposition broken, we can walk through the door to freedom, moving out of the bondage the enemy has kept Kentucky in for decades,” says Willoughby. “Just as the Lord, the King of Israel, brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, so He will break the forces that have hindered a move of God in Kentucky—and this nation. He will set the captives free through this breaker anointing!”
Since November 2013, Willoughby has been seeking and waiting on the Lord over His plans for the state. Now, she’s issuing a clarion call to intercessors in Kentucky and beyond.
“Intercessors of Kentucky, it is time to move,” Willoughby says. “The Lord wants to bring the body of Christ together and enter into worship and to weep between the porch and the altar to allow the breaker to come forth through us to break through every evil force that has been stopping the move of God in Kentucky.”
