Kickbox Announces Dennis Dayman As CPO
DALLAS (PRWEB) January 30, 2018 -- Kickbox today announced the appointment of Dennis Dayman as its Chief Privacy Officer ahead of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) set forth by the European Parliament, Council of the European Union and European Commission which goes into effect in May 25, 2018. The GDPR expands the privacy rights of EU individuals and places new obligations on all organizations that market, track or handle EU personal data.

Dennis has over 20 years of experience combating spam, security and privacy issues, data governance issues and improving email delivery through industry policy, ISP relations and technical solutions.
As Kickbox's Chief Privacy Officer, Dayman will ensure Kickbox is GDPR compliant before the May 2018 deadline and make certain Kickbox continues to follow best practices and maintain compliance in their communication data flows. He will also be responsible for coordinating and managing Kickbox's international electronic commerce, privacy and internet-related policy.

In addition to being CPO at Kickbox, Dennis is also the Chief Privacy and Security Officer at Return Path.
Dennis is a longstanding member of several boards and advisory committees within the messaging industry, including Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) where he is both a founding member and on the board, Chairman of the Email Sender and Provider Coalition (ESPC), and Chairman of the Email Experience Council (EEC). He has also served on the Coalition Against Unsolicited Commercial Email (CAUCE) board, Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Ethics committee and the International Association of Privacy Professional (IAPP) educational advisory board.
Among his many accolades he has been appointed a Ponemon Institute Fellow and is actively involved in creating current Internet and digital communication regulations, privacy and security policies and anti-spam legislation laws for state and federal governments.
