Kiddar Capital Announces Appointment of Cheryl Foil as Principal

Falls Church, VA (PRWEB) March 13, 2016 -- Kiddar Capital - the private equity firm led by real estate and construction industry veteran Todd Hitt - announced that Cheryl Foil has joined the firm as Principal, where she will lead Kiddar Capital’s newly established technology and innovation venture arm.

Previously, Cheryl was CTO for the Emmy-nominated digital storytelling and natural language processing platform, SocialSamba. She has also served as CTO for social change startup WishWould and as consulting CTO for startups across the DC area. Her career in technology began as a lead engineer at digital wellness startup, RedBrick Health.

“Cheryl is recognized in the market for her leadership roles in technology-focused startups. In the short time that Cheryl has been with Kiddar Capital, she has spearheaded an investment for the firm in a newly formed seed fund focused on tech startups in highly regulated industries through 1776, a global incubator located in Washington, DC. To date, Kiddar Capital has deployed $10M in technology ventures.

This year, Cheryl will drive placement capital into Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds - largely within verticals that benefit from Kiddar Capital’s deep industry influence in real estate, hospitality, construction, and smart cities.
