Kids Against Hunger Moves to New Location
Bloomington, MN (PRWEB) February 24, 2014 -- Kids Against Hunger is excited to announce that they have recently moved from their New Hope, MN location to a new space in Bloomington, MN. It is located at 10812 Normandale Boulevard, Bloomington, MN 55437 and houses the organization’s international headquarters office.
Kids Against Hunger is always looking for new ways to better their organization and improve their meal delivery process, and this new location does just that. The newer space offers higher ceilings, allowing for more efficient operations.
Kids Against Hunger is continuing to expand and looking to become even more efficient. They are currently in the process of opening several new regional distribution centers. These distribution centers will house inventory for packing meals and will be located in strategic locations. This way, the satellites can readily access the product for packaging events. Kids Against Hunger has approximately 100 of these independent non-profit food packaging satellites throughout the U.S. and Canada. This new move will also reduce shipping costs for the satellites, allowing more of the funds to be used for packing more meals.

About the company:
Kids Against Hunger packages highly nutritious, life-saving meals for starving children and malnourished children and their families in developing countries and in the United States. The goal of the organization is for their meals to provide a stable nutritional base from which recipient families can move their families from starvation to self-sufficiency. Kids Against Hunger accomplishes this by mobilizing the energy and compassion of American children, teens and adults on behalf of hungry children around the world. Kids Against Hunger seeks to end the literal hunger of children receiving the meals, but also satisfies a hunger among prosperous Americans - a hunger for meaning and contribution.
