King LASIK gets marketing overhaul from GetUWired

Stage 1: Custom API integration
The first thing GetUWired did for King LASIK was to create a 100% custom API dashboard that would integrate with both Appointment Plus (the system King LASIK was using to schedule appointments) and Infusionsoft. The dashboard integration allows the front office staff to input patient information once, and the dashboard filters the appropriate information into both systems simultaneously all while updating the schedule to make the appointment.
“We no longer have to enter everything by hand, so we have more time to devote to critical tasks like providing the best possible services for our patients while simultaneously freeing up business capital,” said King LASIK Vice President of Marketing and Operations Michael King.
Stage 2: Automation
GetUWired and King LASIK worked together to create dozens of custom email marketing campaigns that would disseminate educational information to the ophthalmology practice's patients. These email marketing campaigns save the office staff tremendous amounts of time which was previously spent communicating with clients in other ways.
“As a result of our dedicated nurturing efforts (including reminders), we have dramatically increased our ability to communicate with our patients and the robust tracking within Infusionsoft is also a game changer. This in and of itself is HUGE for our customer retention efforts and prevents us from losing a lot of revenue,” said King.
Stage 3: Online Scheduler
The last stage of the King LASIK overhaul was to create an online appointment scheduler. The online scheduler designed by GetUWired allows patients to schedule their own appointments right from the King LASIK website,http://www.KingLasik.com. The scheduler is intelligent and will block off dates if there is a waiting period for an appointment, such as if a patient needs to go without their contacts for a week before the appointment.
