Kolski and Navarrete Join Health Initiatives Consulting

(HIC) has added two new members, Russ Kolski and Senely Navarrete, to its consulting team, which helps healthcare organizations leverage technology and implement best practices for practice transformation to value-based, patient-centered care.
Russ Kolski, RN, VP Clinical and Operational Transformation, has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 30 years as a paramedic, registered nurse, and administrator, in both rural and urban settings. His expertise spans primary care, emergency management, and facilities and strategic planning. At Ingham Community Health Center, he was FQHC Quality Improvement Manager and Executive Director. Russ led Baldwin Family Health Center initiatives for: Joint Commission, AAAHC and PCMH accreditation; population based registry selection and implementation; medical workflow standardization; and EHR optimization for provider efficiency and maximum data collection. Russ has a passion for developing innovative programming for underserved populations, maximizing provider and staff engagement, and utilizing clinical data to ensure sustainable operations. He received his MS in Administration from Central Michigan University and his BSN from Eastern Michigan University.
Senely Navarrete, VP Practice Transformation, has more than 15 years of experience in clinical management, quality improvement, data-driven strategies, training, and practice transformation. Previously, she was a quality consultant with OSIS, where she supported practices in medical home transformation and optimized data reporting tools for performance improvement. As Chief Quality Officer for Communicare Health Centers, Senely led organization-wide, data-driven improvement efforts, established the organization’s QI monitoring and reporting system, and achieved NCQA Patient Center Medical Home Recognition. She has also held QI management positions with California Medical Association and California Primary Care Association. Senely earned her MPH in Community Health Sciences from UCLA. She is a NCQA PCMH Certified Content Expert and a NextGen Certified Professional.
