Zide have been promoted to partner at the firm. Carruzzo, Hannah and Zide were formerly associates. Rokeach was formerly special counsel.

Fabien Carruzzo – Corporate/Derivatives and Structured Products, New York
Carruzzo advises asset managers, investment funds, commodity traders, investment banks and other market participants on transactional and regulatory matters in the full spectrum of derivatives and structured products. He has significant experience advising clients on the whole range of trading facilities, brokerage, clearing and custodial arrangements, derivatives in securitization structures, as well as complex bespoke derivatives and financing transactions. He assists market participants in assessing and mitigating the liquidity, credit and legal risks inherent in trading securities and financial products.
Carruzzo also advises clients on the implementation of regulatory reforms affecting the derivatives and futures industry globally. An active speaker and writer on issues concerning financial products, Carruzzo has been recognized by Chambers USA as one of the leading practitioners nationwide in derivatives and structured products and by Legal 500 US in the field of structured finance. He is also a member of the Task Force on Investment Company Use of Derivatives and Leverage of the American Bar Association's Committee on Federal Regulation of Securities.
Carruzzo holds a Master of Laws degree from The University of Chicago Law School and is a graduate, magna cum laude, of the University of Lausanne Law School and School of Forensic Science and Criminology, in Switzerland, where he received both a J.D. and a Master in Criminology.

James Hannah – Intellectual Property, Silicon Valley
Hannah is a patent litigator who tries cases on behalf of high-tech companies across the country. He has obtained hundreds of millions of dollars from judgments and settlements for his clients, as well as walk-away dismissals and jury verdicts of non-infringement for claims just as large. He has experience in a wide variety of technology sectors ranging from computer software to semiconductor fabrication. He has been a member of the Silicon Valley office since it was opened in 2011.
In addition to patent litigation, Hannah regularly provides intellectual property counseling services for clients and maintains an active patent, trademark and copyright procurement practice. He is regularly asked to provide lectures on intellectual property issues for academic and industry leaders.
Hannah earned his B.S.E.E. from the University of California, San Diego and his J.D., with honors, from Golden Gate University where he was the IP Journal Editor.

Tzvi Rokeach – Real Estate, New York
Rokeach has a broad based real estate practice, with significant experience in a wide range of complex transactions, including real estate financings, workouts and restructurings, large scale development and construction projects, joint ventures, sales and acquisitions and related transactions covering an array of real estate asset types, including commercial, residential, retail and hospitality properties. Representative clients for whom Rokeach has handled matters include leading developers and institutional investors, major lenders and Fortune 1000 corporations as well as a variety of individual investors.

Stephen D. Zide – Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy, New York
Zide's practice focuses on bankruptcy and corporate restructuring. He has been involved in the representation of official creditor and equity committees, chapter 11 debtors, bondholders, investors, and secured lenders in a variety of bankruptcy cases and distressed situations. Zide played a lead role on some of Kramer Levin’s highest profile bankruptcy representations such as counsel to the official committee of unsecured creditors in the bankruptcy cases of Residential Capital LLC, Cooper Standard, and Dana Corporation, an ad hoc group of noteholders and backstop parties in Kodak's bankruptcy case, and to the debtors General Maritime, Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers and Bally Total Fitness, among others.
Zide earned his B.A. in political science, magna cum laude, from Queens College, CUNY. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy. He was also the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Securities Arbitration and New York Civil Practice. Prior to joining Kramer Levin he was a law clerk to the Honorable Jerome Feller, bankruptcy judge of the Eastern District of New York.
