Ladder Safety Brace Invented by InventHelp Client (SKC-218)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) January 12, 2017 -- Both do-it-yourselfers and general contractors face the challenge of keeping those high ladders from slipping and shifting while they’re painting or doing other construction work. Fortunately, an inventor from Detroit, Mich., has found a way to stabilize ladders so the job can be done faster and safer than ever before.
He developed a prototype for LADDER PROP to allow the user to create a workspace 1-1/2 feet away from the house and also to climb onto the roof easily without damaging the gutters. Besides that, it prevents the ladder from sliding down and causing injuries or fatalities. As a result, it has the potential to reduce the number of insurance claims filed for such accidents. What’s more, it saves time and effort and improves productivity. At the same time, it eliminates the need to touch the gutters or roof with the ladder thereby protecting the roof and other surfaces against scratches. This invention is also safe, sturdy and easy to use, maintain and store. In addition, it provides convenience and effectiveness at an affordable price.
The inventor’s work experience inspired the idea. “Years ago, I had trouble keeping the ladder supported so it would not slide while I was standing on it or climbing up and down to paint or do other construction work,” he said. “So I devised this for myself and have been using it successfully for the last 15 years on my job.”
The original design was submitted to the National Sales Office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
