Laser Pointer Launches Public Health Awareness Infographic Campaign
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Each month, Laser Pointer will select one of the National Health Awareness campaigns and create a patient friendly infographic . Data will come from the leading associations on the particular disease or disorder. Laser Pointer will make every effort to have the association review and provide feedback on the infographic before it is released to ensure accuracy and correct messaging.
These infographics will be posted on Laser Pointer’s website http://www.laserpointerpresentations.com as well as on SlideShare, LinkedIn and Twitter. The first 50 people to respond each month will be able to have the infographic personalized for their practice to send out to their patients. After that, a small fee will be charged for personalization.
The first infographic in this campaign was for Oral Cancer Month. It was posted on SlideShare on April 17 and already has close to 350 views. “We are thrilled with this initial response, “ said Margy Schaller, President, Laser Pointer, “and the dentists have been so grateful. It’s very fulfilling to serve the community in this way.”
The upcoming infographics include
• Huntington’s Disease – May
• ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease – June
• Leukemia & Lymphoma – September
• Breast Cancer – October
• Diabetes – November
If there are disease campaigns for July, August and December that should be covered, please contact Margy Schaller at margy(at)laserpointerpresentations(dot)com or on Twitter @HealthcarePPT. Custom infographics are also available by request.
