(PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- LATISTA Technologies announced today that the board of directors has unanimously elected Chris Ramsey its next chief executive officer (CEO). Mr. Ramsey assumed his new role July 3rd, 2013. Mr. Ramsey was previously LATISTA’s chief operating officer (COO).

Formerly, as the COO at LATISTA, Mr. Ramsey was responsible for global day-to-day operations and helped develop LATISTA’s first product offering in 2005. Prior to being COO, he was the Executive Vice President at LATISTA, where he led the development of LATISTA’s global sales, services, support and marketing teams.
Prior to LATISTA, Mr. Ramsey was the global senior vice president at NIC Inc. While at NIC, he led the creation of the company’s sales, marketing and public relations organizations. NIC went public during Mr. Ramsey’s tenure raising $130M in capital and grew to more than $50M in annual revenues. Before NIC, he served in various management roles at IBM in operations, sales and international channels.
Mr. Ramsey received a BA from Washburn University, graduated from IBM’s management program and earned an MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
