LawRoom Taps New Chief Revenue Officer to Accelerate Growth
Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) December 16, 2014 -- LawRoom today announced that Preston Clark will join the company as Chief Revenue Officer, effective January 2, 2015. Clark, who will report directly to LawRoom CEO and Founder Ralph Yanello, will play a key leadership role in the growth of the company's online compliance training business, which includes the LawRoom (corporate), CampusClarity (college & university), and Shield the Vulnerable (faith-based) brands.
Previously, Clark led inside sales and business development for ThinkHR during its fastest growth period. He was instrumental in restructuring the product line, go-to-market, and customer acquisition model while there. A proven leader in SaaS B2B sales and the Legal Tech industry, Clark has been recognized by Business Insider as a top 10 legal blogger in the country, and is frequently featured in top tech and legal publications.
Clark also brings corporate compliance experience to LawRoom, as a former in-house counsel for the University of Miami. In his new role, Clark will lead the revenue growth strategy for LawRoom and oversee all sales, marketing and client success initiatives—where he will leverage LawRoom’s reputation as the gold-standard in quality for online compliance training.
“Bringing Preston Clark on board represents an inflection point for LawRoom, as we prepare to accelerate our growth into new and existing verticals,” said Ralph Yanello, Founder and CEO of LawRoom. “Preston’s experience implementing scalable sales and marketing strategies for SaaS focused HR solutions, combined with his experience as in-house legal counsel for a major university, makes him uniquely qualified to lead our growth strategy.”
“LawRoom has a reputation for building great online training products, and I’m excited for the opportunity to build a scalable revenue model around them,” said Preston. “As the online training and compliance space continues to grow, online solutions like LawRoom and CampusClarity, will see an increased demand in the marketplace. We are very well positioned to capitalize on this growth opportunity.”
