Legendary Panino’s Pizzeria Places High at the 2015 International Pizza Expo
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 18, 2015 -- “This was our first completion in the World Pizza Games in Vegas and it was tough competing with the 230 exceptional pizza artisans from all over the world,” said Bruno Brunetti. “It was an honor to compete in those divisions and a thrill to see us do so well, along with Leonardo taking Top 10 overall in the Italian Neapolitan Pizza Division.”
Panino’s will be taking its pie on the road to Parma, Italy, as part of the U.S National Pizza team at the World Pizza championships May 25-27, 2015. Categories will include: Classico, Gluten-Free, Pan, Pizza in Due, Pizza on the Peel, and Neapolitan, as well as freestyle acrobatics and largest and fasted dough stretch.
“It will be another fun, yet intense competition,” said Gino Rago, co owner of Panino’s and a member of the U.S Pizza team. “I think we have a great shot. U.S. Pizza team members can hold their own with anyone in the world.”

Panino’s Pizzerias are owned by three pizzaioloi’s: Bruno Brunetti, Gino Rago, and Leonardo Rago, whose culinary training began at a young age.
